Police in New York have sadly confirmed that an Irishman has died following a fall from a building in the city.
It is understood the man named as Ciaran O’Boyle, 22, from the Midlands died after being found outside a building building on Gates Avenue in Brooklyn.
Although he was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say they are not treating his death as suspicious and believe it may have been accidental.
Meanwhile the Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident and they are currently providing consular assistance to Mr O’Boyle’s family.
