Good news for job seekers this afternoon, as 300 jobs are expected to be created at a new centre of excellence officially opened by Dutch company Uber in Limerick today.
The positions will be gradually filled over the coming months.
The significant jobs boost was announced by Minister for Finance Michael Noonan, who himself is a Limerick native.
The new facility will support Uber’s operations across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
