The Department of Integration have confirmed that 300 migrants will be moved into an industrial unit in Shannon town.
Local concerned citizens say that they’re very worried about the lack of resources in the town for people who are already living there. They say that the 6 local schools and local health services have had no consultation.
The Department of Integration have given no timeline as to when the 300 migrants will be moved into the beautiful town, but they say they hope that it will happen before the end of the year.
Local politicians say that they’ve received a number of inquiries and a number of complaints.
