Over 5,000 people took part in the annual Croagh Patrick climb yesterday in Co. Mayo.
All went went with the patrons getting a pleasant day weather-wise to make the climb, but sadly one of them, a man aged 46 needed medical assistance when he got a pain in chest during the climb.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Other than that, no major incidents were reported with the annual climb going according to plan, say the organisers.
