A 49-year-old man was tragically killed in a freak accident at the workplace in Carlow on Monday.
The deceased, named locally as John Doyle, is believed to have fallen from a height while unloading or checking something on a truck. Authorities said that strong winds at the time may have played a factor.
This is the second fatal accident at the workplace in less than 24 hours, after a farmer died in Waterford while working with a septic tank on Tuesday morning.
The Health and Safety Authority is investigating both incidents.
