510 people are languishing on trolleys in Irish hospitals around the country




There are 510 patients waiting for beds in Irish hospitals, according to the most recent statistics provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), reports Breaking News.

While 146 patients are in other hospital wards, another 364 individuals are waiting at the emergency room.

University Hospital Limerick has 86 people waiting for a bed, making it the hospital with the most patients on trolleys.

There are 41 patients in other parts of the hospital, and 45 individuals are in the emergency room, reports Breaking News.

58 of the 69 patients at Cork University Hospital are in the emergency room and are awaiting a bed.

At University Hospital Galway, there are 37 patients in the emergency room and 51 individuals waiting for beds, reports Breaking News.
