A 60 year old man has sadly died after he was struck by a car in Co Meath.
The accident happened at approximately 7pm yesterday evening on the Clonard to Kilcock Road. The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the car was not injured in the accident.
Gardai say one lane of the road remains closed for a forensic collision investigation and is expected to reopen this morning.
