The midwest of Ireland is in line for 600 new jobs, as US medical devices firm Edwards Lifesciences has announced plans to build a new manufacturing plant in the region.
The company is reportedly surveying sites in Limerick and Shannon.
If the plans go ahead, the new jobs would come on stream by 2020.
