An 8-yr-old boy has sadly died after being trapped between the washer and dryer while playing hide-and-seek at a relative’s house.
Police say the Allen Hendrix Wrangler was discovered stuck between a washing machine and a dryer by family members. He visited his parent’s home in Coolidge, Georgia with his grandparents and played with his cousins.
His family members immediately performed CPR on him and called the police around 6:15 p.m. Mr. Friday for not responding. Wrangler only responded briefly to resuscitation attempts, Capt. Tim Watkins of the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office told People. Authorities believe Wrangler was trying to hide between the two planes when he got stuck.
Wrangler was taken to Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia, where he was pronounced dead that evening.
The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office extended its deepest condolences to the Wrangler family, Watkins said.
Law enforcement officials believe Wrangler died of positional asphyxiation.
