An 18-year-old man who has been on the run from police in the UK in connection with rape, theft and assault allegations has been arrested in Northern Ireland this afternoon.
Ryan Humpage, who has been described as dangerous, is wanted by police in Lancashire in the north of England after he was charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl. Mr Humpage was arrested by the officers from PSNI in Shane’s Castle in Co Antrim this afternoon after he was spotted sleeping in a truck.
A spokesperson for the PSNI has said Mr Humpage is now being processed for transfer back to England.
