After tense negotiations, 2,000 members of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI) have agreed to report for duty tomorrow.
Rank and file Gardai are still poised for strike action tomorrow, though it is understood that negotiations are ongoing.
An update is expected later tonight.
