Thousands of people in Drogheda have been left without water this afternoon after a pipe burst.
Irish Water say a number of homes and businesses have been left without water and repair works are underway.
It is understood that the Dublin Road, Bryanstown and Platin Road areas of the town are the worst affected.
Irish Water say crews are currently working to fix the burst water main, but have warned that services may not be restored until 11:30pm tonight.
