In what can be described as utterly despicable, RTE investigates showed horrific scenes where racing greyhounds whose career were over were left in a shed to be brutally killed and dumped by a JCB in a skip a short time later.
It’s since been determined that the greyhound industry receives some €16.8 million from the taxpayer to fund the obviously brutal sport.
Social media users are now demanding that the massive monies being contributed to the greyhound industry be halted immediately.
