They say a picture is worth 1,000 words, well this one is worth €120 to the elderly lady pictured in it.
Dundalk man Gerry O’Neil posted this shocking image to a Facebook group last evening explaining the circumstances.
This 90-yr-old wheelchair bound granny was forced to pay a staggering €120 to a private clampers in an Aldi supermarket in Dundalk, County Louth recently.
The lady is said to not have had a disabled badge on her car but she is bound to a wheelchair and when she explained the situation to the private clamper, he insisted she pay the full extortionate amount of €120 to free her car from the clamp.
Social media users have called the event an absolute disgrace with many claiming the clampers are thugs who circle the carpark in an effort to catch vulnerable people out.
