There really are no excuses for this – 99 families in Dublin became homeless in July 2017.
The number includes many single mothers who have been left using random hotel rooms to live in with their children.
The number of children who went homeless in July frighteningly stands at 214.
Sadly this means that the number of homeless people in capital now stands at a record number of 1,178 families with 2,423 childrenĀ having no residence that they can call ‘home’.
