Figures released today show that almost 140 people slept rough on our streets in Dublin this Spring 2017.
The exact figure of 138 shows a marked increase of just over 35% since the same time in 2016.
The numbers are said to be slightly down on winter 2016 but that’s more than likely a result of some 210 new hostel beds being made available since Christmas.
