The airline will also increase the frequency of its Dublin-San Francisco route. This service, which was relaunched this year, will now operate daily.
And Aer Lingus is also adding a third seasonal flight to New York, departing Dublin at 8am.
For its summer 2015 schedule, the airline will be increasing its Shannon-Boston service by 20pc, and the Dublin-Orlando route will run four times a week, instead of three as in this year.
These developments come hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement by the company that Q3 2014 has been the strongest performing quarter since the financial crisis hit the country.
