Aer Lingus warned that its app and website were down this morning, with passengers advised to contact the airline if they were due to fly today.
Flight schedules were thankfully affected, but some passengers were unable to access their boarding passes electronically.
Passengers are advised to turn up at the airport with plenty time just in case this weekend a similar event occurs.
