African taxi driver living rent free in Immigration Council of Ireland co-founder’s property has been arrested over people smuggling




In a joint operation involving both the Gardai and the North’s PSNI, a man from Eritrea and living in Foxrock, South County Dublin was arrested on suspicion of people smuggling.

In an astonishing revelation The Times reports that the man was living rent free in a mews at a Foxrock mansion owned by Chantel McCabe.

Ms. McCabe is the co-founder of the Immigration Council of Ireland. She is separated from the 245th richest man in Ireland, Bill McCabe.

The African taxi driver was arrested after he drove from Dublin to Northern Ireland on 8th February with two Eritrean passengers who had sought asylum in the Republic of Ireland.
