After the hottest day of the year, more changeable weather is approaching

Beaches and parks were packed with sun seekers yesterday, as the country basked in temperatures approaching 30C.

This high won’t last, however, as there is more changeable weather in the cards.

Today will remain fairly warm and dry, with temperatures hovering at around 22C. There is a likelihood of showers developing later in the evening, and the rain is forecast to spread eastwards towards tomorrow morning.

Thursday will be mostly bright and warm, with temperatures remaining in the low 20s.

The outlook for the weekend is for warm temperatures, but heavy rain at times, too.
