Another airline has gone bust, after Aigle Azur -France’s second-biggest air carrier- collapsed into administration.
The airline had been struggling financially for some time, despite carrying as many as 19m passengers throughout 2018.
Aigle Azur was forced to declare bankruptcy after the company failed to raise new capital.
As many as 1,150 jobs are likely to be lost in the wake of the airline’s collapse.
