Discount retailer Aldi has confirmed that it will introduce a €12.30 ‘living wage’ from February 1, thus becoming Ireland’s highest paying supermarket.
The company also confirmed that some senior store assistants will earn up to €14.10 per hour.
Aldi recently announced the creation of 550 new jobs across Ireland this year.
