21-year-old Alexander Pacteau will appear in court this morning in connection with the murder of Cork student Karen Buckley back in April.
If Mr. Pacteau enters a guilty plea, he is likely to receive a mandatory life sentence. However, the case could go to full trial if he pleads not guilty.
24-year-old Karen Buckley was found dead at a farm outside Glasgow city, four days after going missing from a nightclub on Sunday April 12th.
It is understood that Karen’s parents have travelled to Glasgow for the court hearing in Glasgow.
