The annual 12th of July parades, which are due to take place across Northern Ireland on the 12th of July, with the largest parade due to be taking place in Loughall, where the Orange Order was founded in 1795, have been cancelled due to coronavirus.

Tens of thousands of spectators from all over Northern Ireland and Scotland were expected to attend parades and watch as the Orange Order march through the streets but health authorities in conjunction with organisers deemed that the parades not go ahead due to health reasons in relation to the covid-19 outbreak.
