Scientists are predicting that a truly amazing lunar eclipse will be visible in the early hours of next Monday.
The total lunar eclipse occurs when the earth’s Penumbra and umbra cross over each other, partially shading the front of the moon view.
The beautiful image is expect to last for a full one hour and twelve minutes!
But it’s the night owls who will see it best. It’s scheduled to start at 3:47am Monday morning (Irish time), and finish in and around 5am.
Those of us having to drag our Monday morning behinds out of bed might decide to give it a miss, but plenty might still decide to get up and take some incredible photos, no doubt.
Enjoy this spectacular event!
