An Post have confirmed that the price of national and international stamps will be increased.
In an announcement the postal service confirmed that the price of a national stamp will increase from €1.10 to €1.25.
Meanwhile the price of an international stamp will increase from €2.00 to €2.20.
However the price of a book of stamps will remain at €11.
An Post say the increase is due to hyper inflation in the postal industry across the world.
