
An Post has announced that they are to seek up to 300 voluntary redundancies over the coming weeks ahead.
The move which is part of a widespread cost cutting measure is being made in an effort to eliminate in more than 250 non-essential positions within the company.
Although An Post say they will not drastically change its business model, it has been mooted that the company will re-locate its headquarters from the GPO.
According to RTÉ News, An Post say its severance programme will be open to 1,200 of its corporate and support office workers.
