An Post have revealed that they are introducing a new service that will give homeless people an address in order for them to gain access to public services.
According to Midlands 103 FM, the new service called Address Point is scheduled to be introduced in the next few weeks.
It is understood the service will allow people to use the address for a number of services, including job applications, school enrolments and opening a bank account.
An Post say they are currently working with a number of homeless agencies to set up the service.
