Local authorities are reportedly hunting for a puma that has allegedly been spotted up to six times around the Cork area in recent times.

Most of the sightings occurred around the Fountainstown and Crosshaven areas.
The sightings have deemed to be credible enough, so a tracking team has set up cameras and traps in an effort to capture the animal.
People are advised to contact authorities immediately if the come across the creature.
