Anne Rice, author of Interview with a Vampire, has passed away aged 80.
A New Orleans native, Ms. Rice is best known for The Vampire Chronicles series of books.
She passed away from complications arising from a recent stroke.
Ms. Rice will be interred in the family’s mausoleum at Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.
