Another election is in sight, at least that’s according to one Fine Gael spokesman.
The Cork-based party member said that internal rows at grass route levels in the party have basically decided already that there’ll be another election on May 20th.
“There’s far too much history involved between Fine Gael and Fianna Fail for the majority of us to just sweep under the carpet.”
The likelihood of a Fianna Fail and Fine Gael grand coalition is all but forgotten as far as grass roots members go.
It seems much more likely that the scenario of another election on May 20th will become a reality by the end of this week.
“We can’t just let go of what our forefathers went through and what they stood for. It’s time to go back to the people”, he concluded.
