Another oil refinery has gone up in flames in Russia overnight, meaning the country’s logistics network is being starved of vital fuel ahead of an expected Ukrainian counter-offensive.
Last night’s target was the Ilsky refinery, near the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk in the Krasnodar region of Russia. The facility is one of the largest in the country.
Ukraine is methodically destroying key targets to deny Russia the capabilities to mount an effective defence against the upcoming offensive.
