The Irish Navy vessel LE Niamh has scored another successful endeavor today with the rescue of 125 migrants from Mediterranean waters.
The ship attended a distress call made by a an overloaded inflatable craft about 115 km. north of the Libyan capital of Tripoli.
92 men, 26 women and 7 children were on board.
The vessel has so far rescued more than 1,600 people during its tour of duty in the Mediterranean.
