Met Éireann have said the country will be in for another warm day today following high temperatures on Thursday.
The national forecaster say temperatures are expected to reach 27C in parts on Friday as a warm front sweeps in from Central Europe.
The latest forecast comes after the west of the country experiencing temperatures above 28C on Thursday with the highest temperature being recorded at Shannon Airport with temperatures reaching 28.4C.
Although conditions are expected to be slightly from Sunday onwards, Met Eireann say the country is set to experience temperatures in the mid 20s on Saturday.
