The DUP leader Arlene Foster has said that she does not agree with closing schools, universities or colleges at this present time.
Speaking today Ms Foster said that she agrees with the advice of chief medical officer in Northern Ireland who does not recommend closures at this present time.
However Sinn Féin’s Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill has said that she believes that all education facilities should be shut immediately.
Ms Foster however does agree that education facilities may be forced to close in the future.
