Around 2,000 people have been conferred with Irish citizenship in a ceremony in Co Kerry




Around 2,000 people have been conferred with Irish citizenship following a special ceremony in Co Kerry.

In what was the 145th event, citizens from over 100 countries attended the ceremony at the Gleneagle INEC in Killarney.

Amongst those in attendance included Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan.

Those in attendance received certificates of naturalisation.
