When Jeremy Clarkson allegedly threw a punch at his Irish co-worker, the TV motoring world was left in limbo as to what its future might be.

Roll on a year and we’re just one month shy of an epic line up to at least match Clarkson, Hammond and May.

Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc will front the world’s biggest motoring show and to add to that, they even decided to drop by Kerry as part of their first series.

Spinning around the “Wild Atlantic Way”, the two men drove a brand new Rolls Royce Drop Head convertible, and a beautiful classic Rolls Royce Silver Corniche.

Evans claims it’s the best road he’s even been on, while the Friends star said it was unbelievably beautiful.

With an audience in excess of 350 million worldwide, the Irish tourism board and Kerry tourism board are said to be delighted with the prospect of how the South West will look around the world and with the inevitable benefit of tourism as a result.
