According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation’s (INMO) trolley watch, 439 admitted patients were waiting on hospital beds this past Monday.
Out of this total, 287 patients were waiting in emergency departments, while another 152 were in other hospital wards, reports Breaking News.
University Hospital Limerick reported the highest overcrowding, with 100 patients left on trolleys.
Meanwhile, 52 patients at University Hospital Galway were also without beds, and Cork University Hospital had 44 patients on trolleys, reports Breaking News.
