In a shocking story that will horrify many, it has been reported that a cell of the asexual “Nullo” cult has been raided in North London by police after they received a tip-off that a pay per view video was posted online. The video allegedly showed a live male castration. Seven men are said to have been arrested in connection with the sick practice.
According to the Daily Mail, it is alleged that the videos are screened on a pay-per-view basis through an adult channel that show the castrations. A man from Norway is said to have been detained. The 44-year-old is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm. Six other people ranging in age from 30 to 60 have also been arrested.
The Nullo movement is thought to have been inspired by an asexual Japanese artist called Mao Sugiyama. Nine years ago he has his penis and testicles surgically removed. The “Nullos” are thought to number 10,000 to 15,000 throughout the world in a practice that has only grown in popularity.
While it is known that some of these castrations take place for cannibalistic or sexual desires, it is thought that most people remove their genitals because they don’t identify as male or female. Castrations of this kind are said to be often carried out by doctors or vets but, sometimes by the person themselves.
