Aspirin intake could cut cancer mortality by as much as 20%, according to new research

Aspirin intake could cut cancer mortality by as much as 20%, according to new research just published by Cardiff University.

According to this research, aspirin might also help reduce the spread of cancer around the body.

The study involved the revision of 118 previous works that had tracked around 250,000 patients with 18 different cancer types.

The research does stress that aspirin intake alone would not be efficacious in curing cancer, but that it might help when taken while undergoing standard treatment.
