Asthma and hayfever sufferers have been advised to take extra care as Met Eireann has warned that the pollen count will remain very high over the next three days.
In their latest forecast, the national forecaster has said that the pollen count will be very high across, Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connacht for the next three days.
The latest warning comes as the country is experiencing high temperatures and prolonged spells of sunshine.
Those who suffer with either condition are advised to proceed with caution and take extra care whilst going outdoors.
