At least 16 people have died, including 6 children, after a boat loaded with migrants capsized in the Aegean Sea overnight.
It is understood that the boat was sailing from Turkey to Greece.
Three people managed to swim to a nearby island and raised the alarm.
Thousands of migrants have perished at sea over the last two years while trying to reach the European continent.
