A shooting incident in the town of Odessa, Texas, has left five people dead and no fewer than twenty-one others injured.
The incident began at 3.13pm local time on Saturday afternoon. The gunman drove around in his vehicle, shooting randomly at people and other cars. He managed to kill five and injure twenty-one others, including a toddler and three police officers.
The perpetrator, described as a white male in his 30s, was cornered and killed in a shootout with police inside a cinema complex car park.
This is the latest in a long string of shooting incidents around the United States in recent times.
