At least four childen have been killed, and twenty others injured after a train collided with a bus at a level crossing near the French city of Perpignan.
It is understood the bus was carrying schoolchildren aged between 11 and 15.
French media reported a scene of carnage, as the bus was sliced in two at the crossing.
