At least three people killed after lone gunman opens fire in Maryland

Three people have been confirmed dead after a lone gunman opened fire in the town of Aberdeen near Baltimore in Maryland.

A number of people were injured in the shooting.

The gunman, rumored to be a woman, is now in a critical condition in hospital. The circumstances surrounding her injuries are unclear at this point.
