Two people are confirmed dead, and dozens more injured, following the derailment of a high-speed train near Milan in Italy early this morning.
The incident happened after the train’s engine detached from the convoy and crashed into a freight train in an adjacent track.
The train was travelling from Milan to Bologna at the time of the crash.
The cause of the accident remains unknown.
