But Mr. Halligan did say that he ‘will rain hell on the Government,’ after his wishes for a second cardiac unit at Waterford Hospital were quashed.
Mr. Halligan has now threatened to pull the rug from under the Government’s feet over the issue, potentially throwing an already fragile entente cordiale into utter chaos.
And in pure Maximus style, he said “I will bring all hell down on top of them if they don’t deliver this.”
The road ahead for Mr. Halligan is unclear, but one thing is clear: A storm is coming.
