Follow Rugby Australia’s move to destroy the career of record breaking player Israel Folau the organisation is now facing a rebellion from all of its Polynesian players.

Australia’s Rugby Team moved to drop Folau last month after its star player quoted biblical scripture relating to homosexuality on his personal social media account.

The Christian sportsman posted a meme on Instagram on Wednesday which read “warning drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, and idolaters that hell – awaits you.”

This provoked uproar online with keyboard PC activists demanding Folau publicly repent and atone for his politically incorrect beliefs or lose his career.

However, Folau’s fellow Polynesian players have come to his defence ahead of his RA code of conduct hearing.

Queensland Reds and Wallabies hooker Taniela Tupou expressed his support for the record breaking superstar and fellow countryman and Christian on his Facebook page stating

“Seriously ?????????? Might as well sack me and all the other Pacific Islands rugby players around the world because we have the same Christian beliefs ??????,” Tupou posted late on Tuesday night. “I will never apologise for my faith and what i believe in, religion had nothing to do with rugby
anyways ???????? #TYJ”

Tupou attached a link about his fellow Wallabies teammate and Reds captain Samu Kerevi, who was being strongly pressured into apologising for taking to Instagram at Easter thanking “Jesus for dying on the cross for me. I love you Jesus#”.

Kerevi responded to those demanding he renounce Christ to save his career with the following

“But to be clear I’m not apologising for my faith in Jesus Christ my saviour.
“God will always come first in my life and many other professional rugby players.
“Today, I felt things were taken out of context in regards to certain articles.
“I do not feel obliged to apologise to people because of the situation happening right now with a
brother of of mine.”

Some commentators online have blithely commented that Folau should identify as Muslim and the PC fanatics would then “keep their mouths shut” no matter what he said about gays or anyone else.
