Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has resigned with immediate effect following allegations of corruption.
It is understood that his office was raided by authorities in recent days, amidst an investigation into allegations of bribery.
Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg is now likely to become the new Chancellor.
