Authorities have found the bodies of 18 migrants in a secret compartment in a lorry abandoned on a highway in Bulgaria.
Local police say that there were around 40 people hidden under a load of timber. The survivors have been taken to nearby hospitals in a critical condition.
Three people have been arrested in connection with this incident.
